I purchased the large double handled tug 2 1/2 years ago. Our big, 90lb. male Old English plays with us with it EVERY DAY. It is his number 1 play toy. Except for having to have the leather handles replaced once by our local bootmaker, it's still going strong. And, that was our fault, we let him have it unattended and he chewed through the leather. Since getting it fixed, we now pick it up and put it away after each play time. He seems to understand. Everyday he goes and stands where we keep it to let us know it's time too play!! He really, really, loves it. It's GREAT exercise for him.
