Measure the circumference of your dog's neck and head in the widest area.
Compare the Shepherd's neck and head sizes and add about 1 to 2 inches to larger size in order to determine the correct collar length.
For Example: If your dogs neck size is around 20 inches and the head is around (in the widest area) 22 inches.
And because you should add 1-2 inch to large head sizes the right Choice is a 23 or 24 inch size collar
